The Diamond, where Josh Wharton established a free version of Dunn-Westbay (5.13). |
The Diamond is Colorado's most famous alpine wall, and, with the base at over 13,000 feet in elevation, it is a challenge by any route. The Diamond is home to many classic grade IV free routes, including the Casual Route (5.10a), Pervertical Sanctuary (5.10c), D7 (5.11d), and Ariana (5.12a).
