NEWS- UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup Event Happening Now in Durango

The United Climbing and Mountaineering Federation is hosting a world cup event this weekend in Durango, Colorado. According to the event website it will be the only internationally sanctioned UIAA event in North America this year. In addition, this event will also be the North American Ice Climbing Championship.

There will be a $1000 award for the winner of the lead categories and a $600 pot that goes to the winner of the speed event. You can view a schedule of the events here.
